Jeeeez I am one lucky guy. As I was getting ready to depart on the walk I fell ill with abdominal problems. I was in ICU for 3 days and to be honest if I was in the desert I would have died.
Lucky for me though I am still around but have now moved the start date of the walk to the 17 June. I will still need to get the go ahead from the Doc to walk but he says as long as I am a good little boy there should be no problem.
So I am catching up on admin and on Monday I head down to Swakopmund to start my training regimen.
