Reflecting on 2014 I am one lucky son of an “Angel”
Ups and downs for sure. But there is no doubt someone is looking after me. Never the less some awesome highlights. A Thriving business, Walks, met new friends, reconnected with old friends, have friends, family, got to spend time in my beloved Desert, Spitzkoppe & Kruger National park, went to rock concerts, International jet travel, air hostesses, played an awesome golf tournament at Sun City, planned a few more, still have my puppies with me, Swam in the Indian, Atlantic oceans & the Andaman sea, did some crazy shit….. etc….etc…..Rock on Baby…………
Unfortunately we lost a few people who meant a lot to me, especially while I was growing up (have I yet?). but hey your time has got to come……….What you gonna do?????????
Enough of 2014……………time to look to the future.

I am so excited for this year. Besides all the cool stuff I can do, I am gonna walk!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeahhhbabyyeahhhh. Something that makes me real happy. As you well know i find my peace in Nature/desert/arms of Heidi Klum. However this time is going to be a big challenge but f@#k it. These boots are made for walking
There is nothing like a goal and change of year to get your ass kicked into action 😉 As you know I start the big walk from Swakop to Kunene on 15 May 2015 but I still need to finish from Karibib to Swakop before then. Just so I can “say” I walked through the whole of Namibia 😉
I plan to do that as soon as the rain’s come. It is just too bloody hot right now. It will be a great warm up for me and I can get my new walking boots “walked in” so hopefully there will be minimal blisters.
It should take me between 10-14 days. It seems long but I am back to being a fat bastard and to be honest I am in no hurry. Actually what I am going to do is to back up a bit and start at the farm Harmonie. Then walk the old Windhoek- Swakopmund road. It is sand & goes through the national park so I will avoid all the cars that go on the main road at lightning speed! Actually I think I will coinside it with a full moon again;-) Just me, my pup’s, desert, animals, camp fires and nature. Oh yes and the fly’s……….%$$#@#$%%%%##@@

It is really exciting as there are some family and friends that want to come do a few km’s with me in May/June/July. Especially in the beginning as logistics wise it will be much easier.
I even have a few friends that are going to meet me in the North to do the last +- 8 days walking. How cool will that be! Walking up to the Kunene River after 860km surrounded by friends. That would be the ultimate finale!!!!!!! Shit I better get off to the Gym………….
